영어로 시간말하는 여러가지 방법에 대해서 알아보자

영어로 시간을 표현할때 기본적인 레시피 몇개를 기록합니다.

몇시 몇분을 말하고 싶을때

 

1. ""시 = "" o'clock

5시 입니다. = It's five o'clock.

 

2. ""시 ""분 = 숫자 연속으로 말하기

5시 05분 = five o five

5시 10분 = five ten

5시 30분 = five thirty

 

오전 오후 구분할때

오전 오후 분은 AM, PM으로 구분하면됩니다.

혹은 morning, evening, afternoon 등을 활용하면 구분가능합니다.

 

It's 5 am 

 오전 5시입니다.

It's 5 pm

 오후 5시입니다.

It's six in the morning

 아침 6시입니다

It's six in the evening

 저녁 6시입니다.

얼마의 시간이 지났다. 몇분 전이다 를 말할때

몇시의 몇분전, 몇분이 지났다 를 표현하려면 

past, to 를 활용하면 됩니다.

 

Past = "~"분 지나다

To = "~"분 전이다

 

It's 5 past one

 (1시에서) 5분 지났습니다.

It's 10 past one

 10분 지났습니다

It's 15 past one

 15분 지났습니다.

It's quarter past one

 15분 지났습니다.

It's half past one

 30분 지났습니다.

It's 5 to one

 (1시로 부터) 5분 전입니다. 5분 남았습니다.

It's 10 to one

 10분 전입니다.

It's 15 to one

 15분 전입니다.

It's half to one

 30분 전입니다.

 

분침과 시침을 영어로 하면?

분침과 시침 초침뜻도 정리합니다. 

사실 이런걸 말할 상황이 많지는 않겠지만 알아두면 좋겠지요

 

- 시침 = hour hand = short hand = little hand

- 분침 = minute hand = long hand = big hand

- 초침 = second hand
