To go 뜻 에 대하여 정리합니다.

to go는 'take out 하다' 라는 뜻일경우 미국에서 많이 쓰이며

우리가 먹는 어떤것이든 다 쓸 수 있다고 합니다.

take out 도 쓸수있지만 to go가 더 많이 쓰인다고 하네요.

뜻은 두가지 정도로 분류 됩니다.

 

1. 남았다. (Left; still remaining. )

 

• With only two kilometers to go, Max is still first.
  2킬로미터나 남았는데, 맥스가 여전히 일등이야.

 

• There is still about half an hour to go before the show starts.
  공연 시작까지 아직 30분정도 남았어.

 

• There are just three weeks to go before the end of the term.
  계약이 끝나기까지 3주남았어.

 

• Only two chapters to go, and then I’m finished.
  두 챕터 남았어. 그리고나서 끝나.

2. 포장하다. 싸가다.(=take out)

 

• Do you want this pizza to go?
  피자 싸가도 될까요?
  
  
• Let's stop here and buy six hamburgers to go.
  여기서 햄버거사서 가자. 
  
  
• Let's stop off on the way home and get something to go.
  가던길에 잠깐 뭐좀 사가자.
